Nettie Baylor - Senior Spotlight

 Nettie Baylor

Favorite scripture verse: Philippians 1:20-22

Nettie is a homeschool graduate recently accepted to Gallaudet University to study American Sign Language. Her dream is to become a linguist pathologist for ASL. Her mother has greatly inspired her to continue her ASL education. Nettie was awarded the 2023 REMARKable Futures Scholarship to assist in fulfilling her dream!

Nettie's favorite memory from her senior year was signing the national anthem for Chick-fil-A, The Crossroad's Grand Opening. When asked about her biggest high school accomplishment, she said, "Getting to counsel over 35 kids in the love of Christ at camp." Nettie enjoys crocheting, books, art, and participating in theatre plays in her spare time.

In July 2023, Nettie will celebrate 2 years of working for Chick-fil-A as a Shift Leader. Nettie has a true servant's heart and a contagious smile. She exemplifies leadership and continually puts guests' and team members' needs before her own. As a homeschooled student, Nettie works various times of the day at Chick-fil-A Victoria, and we are very blessed to see her smile light up the community at all times of the day!

We love you, Nettie Baylor! We are so blessed to have spent your high school years with you! 🤟

Nettie's senior quote: Stay Safe & eat Spicy Sandwiches!

Her favorite mottos to live by are: "Forgiveness and grace are free" & "Smile often."
