Your local Chick-fil-A in Victoria, Texas is proud to award
five $2500 scholarships to some of our exceptional team members.
Starting back in 1973, Chick-fil-A has been awarding
scholarships to its team members to support higher education and reward team
members for their leadership, academic achievements and community involvement. These scholarships are used as an opportunity
for Chick-fil-A to invest in its employees’ aspirations and goals beyond wages
and the valuable experience gained by working at the restaurants.
Overall, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has awarded more than $35 million
to 35,000+ of their team members since 1973.
This year they will award $14.5 million to more than 5,700
team members to pursue higher education!
Here are the five exceptional Victoria, Texas team members that
were awarded the Remarkable Futures Scholarships...
Lance Easley
Lance has worked for Chick-fil-A for four years. He is a
current student of Victoria College majoring in Instrumentation Technology.
Morgan Lemke
Morgan has worked for Chick-fil-A for one year. She graduated
from Victoria West High School and will attend University of Houston-Victoria
in the fall to study Marketing.
Ansley Murphy
Ansley, daughter of David & Tammy Murphy, has grown-up working at her parent's Chick-fil-A. She graduated from Victoria West
High School and plans to attend Texas Tech University in the fall to study Pre-Medicine.
Brayden Murphy
Brayden, son of David & Tammy Murphy, has also
grown-up and worked in Chick-fil-A. He is a current student of University of
Houston-Victoria majoring in Computer Science.
Christina Schoener
Christina has worked for Chick-fil-A for one year. She
graduated from St. Joseph High School and will attend Texas Tech University in
the fall to study Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Special
Education.
